Overview
The Ecommerce Merchants Trade Association of the Philippines, Inc. (ECOMTAP), is a private non-stock, non-profit organization, founded by key players in the Philippine ecommerce industry.
Objectives
  1. To grow the marketplace and make all Filipinos comfortable with online buying.
  2. To serve as the private sector advocate and one-stop-stop organization and center of ecommerce and online business in the Philippines.
  3. To contribute to the advancement and development of the state-of-the-art technologies in the ecommerce and online business in the Philippines.
  4. To develop and train highly skilled, talented and motivated human resource specializing in ecommerce sales, marketing and logistics.
  5. To actively initiate, organize, and support activities and programs for the development and growth of ecommerce and online business in the Philippines.
  6. To provide an avenue and forum for an open and constructive framework for the discussion of trends, forecasts, policies, directions and challenges of ecommerce industry in the Philippines.
